The Pharmacy Technician
training program is designed to help students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work as pharmacy technicians and prepare to sit for the PTCB national certification exam. Pharmacy technicians work in retail, hospital, and clinic pharmacies. They assist pharmacists in formulating, labeling, and dispensing medications. Numerous exercises and assessments throughout each of the 14 modules ensure that students master each concept before moving on, and knowledgeable student support advisors are available from program start to finish. 285 Contact Hours.
Students who focus full-time energy to this program can finish the training in 3-6 months. Part-time students have up to 6 months to finish the program. Students will receive comprehensive technical support throughout the course and full access to online career services, including resume review, reference letters, graduate consultations and other job placement help. This is a non-credit course.
