**These classes are designed to be taken sequentially. We recognize, however, that this is not always a possibility. If you are not able to do so, please contact us to make arrangements.

Portfolio Requirements:
An important and unique part of this certification is the immediate application of knowledge into a project. You can either choose a project of your own or use one of our samples. The Project Portfolio class is divided into two sessions: a mid-certificate check-in and a final project presentation. While you can wait until all classes are complete to begin your project, you will find this a more beneficial experience if you work on your project as you go. View Portfolio Requirements by Class.

Software Discounts
If you do not currently own the Adobe Creative Suite (or wish to upgrade), you can purchase it through the Normandale Bookstore at a generous discount. Contact Jeff Hudson at 952-358-8705 to set up an account.

Open Lab
We recognize that you may not have the same facilities in your home or office to work on your project. If you would like to work on your project, you are invited to use our Computer Center on the 3rd floor of the main College Center building. As you walk into the open lab area, there are several Apple computers on the far left wall. There will not be an instructor available and you will not be able to print, but all of these computers are loaded with the Adobe Creative Suite. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please let Tim Daniels or Jeff Hudson know, as your name will need to be on an approved list in the Computer Center.

The open lab is open most evenings until 9:00 pm, but you can call the Computer Center at 952-358-8180 to confirm.

Refresher Courses
In our busy lives, we sometimes do not have the opportunity to apply training as quickly as we would like. To help reinforce learning, you are eligible to take a free refresher course within 12 months of the original class. Click Refresher Policy for more information.

Contact Information
Our lead instructor, Tim Daniels, is here to ensure a positive experience for you. Please contact him with any content or project-related questions. If you have questions about the certificate itself, please contact Jeff Hudson.
