CourseGraphic In an effort to support everyone's health and well-being, this course will be held as an interactive web-cast session via ZOOM. Students will have ample opportunity to participate, ask questions, and connect with one another in this virtual delivery method.

How did herbal therapy develop? What are the major herbal systems of the world, and how do they compare and differ? How do herbalists from these various systems choose particular herbs for particular situations? You will learn about the energetic aspects of herbs (for example, herbs which are warming, cooling, drying, & moistening) and how they can impact upon different types of people and conditions. Common assessment techniques of herbalists (including tongue assessment, facial assessment, iridology, and kinesiology) will also be briefly covered.

This course can be taken individually or you can register for Herbalism Certificate.
