This 3 1/2-hour course is a review of the skills and knowledge covered in the American Heart Association's (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Wear comfortable clothing for active participation.
Who Should Attend: Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, Daycare Providers, Security Personnel, Nursing Home Workers, and other Healthcare Providers

Please read:  • A student may renew their certification through this course if their card is less than one year past the certification expiration date. • Upon successful completion of the course, the American Heart Association CPR certification is good for 2 years. • Course does include AED training (Automated External Defibrillator). • Students MUST bring to class: a CPR mask and the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers manual.
