This course will introduce the formal imperative, remote past and present subjunctive tenses, along with impersonal expressions and comparatives/superlatives. Students will be able to recount past events and tell stories using three different past tenses (simple past, imperfect and remote past). Students will also start expressing personal opinions using the subjunctive to discuss differences in healthcare and work practices in Italy and the U.S. Topics include work, health and some important events in Italian history.
