This hands-on certificate will introduce you to foundational concepts and best practices of holistic aromatherapy. You will gain practical knowledge and tools that you can easily integrate into your daily lifestyle to help restore balance and enhance well-being. As you explore essential oils through both a scientific and holistic perspective, you will learn how to use them in ways that are economical, effective, and safe. Upon completion of this course you will be able to identify the possibilities and limitations of essential oil therapies; describe how they can affect the mind and body; distinguish between risks and benefits to safely utilize oils through inhalation and topical application; and demonstrate awareness of general safety precautions and guidelines. Classes will have an experiential component of interacting with essential oils so that you’re able to use your new skills to create several take home products to incorporate into your self-care routine.
