In this course, you will learn a general routine, your Dosha specific routine, and meditation and breathing exercises to support your practice.
Discover the world’s Oldest Healing System with a new approach. Ayurveda is the ancient holistic medical system from India which has been practiced for more than 5000 years. Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through balancing body, mind and consciousness. This series will introduce core Ayurvedic principles of right thinking, proper food choices, life style changes, and the use of herbs as key factors to create balance in energies responsible for body-mind functions and all mechanisms. You will learn about your own psychophysiological make up and techniques to integrate in your mind-body healing practice. Introduction to Ayurveda is a prerequisite for ALL other Ayurveda classes in this series. However once you complete Introduction to Ayurveda, you may choose to attend one or all of the remaining five Ayurveda Series courses.
