Restoring the Healing Presence in Care Giving – Holistic and Self-care Practices (WS)

ID : 63195
« back to classes page

How many times have you heard “the Healthcare system is broken?” The irony is that the very system designed to heal others is itself – ailing. Perhaps the path to change is through the empowerment of us – the caregivers.  Whether you are a professional caregiver or find  yourself caring for parents and children, you will discover how each of us play a role in healing health care, when we FIRST heal ourselves. You will learn how we can create space within yourself to be more compassionate - transforming the patient’s or loved one’s experience and yourself.  We will focus on empowering ourselves and those we care for, along with an introduction to the energy system and simple techniques that will transform your care giving experience. You will learn how to assess your self-care needs and develop a strategy to help you restore that loving feeling you may be missing and walk away with practical tools that you can implement immediately.
