ID : 63046
« back to classes page
Learn to assess a person’s overall health using holistic-evaluation techniques. This class will expand upon methods discussed in the Herbal Therapy Series to determine the health of an individual, specifically his or her energetic imbalances (whether hot, cold, dry, moist); the strength of his/her vital force, blood quality, and digestion; and the level of his or her toxicity. Day two will cover how to assess the health of one’s endocrine system (adrenals, thyroid, and reproductive glands). Day three will dive into specifics such as the analysis of the iris (pioneered by central- and east-European physicians) and of the sclera of the eyes (pioneered by the Nez Perce Indians of North America) which can reflect the health of the organs, glands, and tissues of the body. Skills covered will include tongue analysis, pulse analysis, muscle testing, facial analysis (physiognomy), skin analysis, symptom analysis and laboratory tests that can be ordered directly by one's self without the need for a physician's order.
