Learn more complex French grammar in this level 4 class of our series. You’ll learn the imparfait (the imperfect tense) and the difference passé composé (the past tense) and the imparfait (the imperfect) and when and how to apply them in your everyday conversation. You’ll also acquire new vocabulary for discussing your work, using numbers and currency and discussing childhood subjects with imperfect tense. Worksheets and take home practice are available to supplement individual and group learning.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of French 4, you will:
  • Learn the imparfait (the imperfect) and the difference between the passé composé (the past tense) and the imparfait (the imperfect tense)
  • Learn vocabulary to be able to discuss childhood subjects with imperfect tense
  • Learn vocabulary to discuss work, numbers, and currency
  • Continue the learning of letter sounds and syllables for better pronunciation.
  • Read "Allons-Y" magazines for beginners and have group discussions for reading comprehension and vocabulary
  • Participate in a stress-free conversational group
