This course is a continuation of the 14-movement Tai Chi based on the Sun Style, which was designed by Dr. Paul Lam’s team of Tai Chi and medical experts. It is designed for the returning TCA students to learn the extension and advanced movements of the form. Emphasis will be placed on practicing the six essential tai chi principles while doing this form. Pre-requisite: Ability to perform the first 14 movements of the TCA form.
Following completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Perform the 41 movements of Tai Chi for Arthritis set.
- Utilize gentle qigong exercises for relaxation and stress management.
- Practice the six essential tai chi principles related to outward movement, body structure and internal movement.
