This program is designed for in-service teachers for the purposes of satisfying the American Indian component of Human Relations for teachers, a requirement for state certification. Admission to the class is restricted to persons holding teaching certificates. The class includes one face to face session in addition to online course work. Outside homework for the class is writing-intensive.

Please read:  This hybrid, or blended course is the American Indian component of the Human Relations for Teachers ED521 course and includes the requirements for certification. Students will need computer and internet access. The course is not self-paced, as students will be challenged with specific deadlines for the completion of assignments. Most of the coursework will be completed online, with the exception of one classroom session to be held at Normandale Community College. The classroom sessions will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
