The Medical Transcription program will focus on editing and formatting physician-dictated medical records, fixing grammatical errors and improving content in an efficient and accurate manner. The program also emphasizes practical experience, and by completion, you will have transcribed hundreds of authentic dictations, preparing for a quick and successful transition to the workplace. In addition, the program’s online format provides you the flexibility to study at your own pace.
Students who focus full-time energy to this program can finish the training in 4-6 months. Part-time students have up to 1 year to finish the program. Students will receive comprehensive technical support throughout the course and full access to placement services including resume review, reference letters, graduate consultations and other job placement help. This is a non-credit course.
